Arafat Camps Project Hajj Season 1443 AH

The Hajj season is the largest occasion of the Islamic world, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia harnesses all its efforts to serve the pilgrims, where many Muslims from different countries of the world gather simultaneously and in one place responding to the call of Ibrahem, peace be upon him, and completing the fifth pillar of Islam, and therefore the holy sites represent the whole point of Hajj. It is located in the northeastern side of Makkah Al-Mukarramah and with the passage of years, the number of pilgrims increased until it exceeded two million pilgrims from local citizen and abroad. Although crowding is normal on major occasions, maintaining the safety of pilgrims and enabling them to perform their rituals conveniently and easily is one of the most important things that Hajj organizers are keen on.

Role in the project

  • Study all electrical loads.
    Design and supervise the implementation of all electrical works in the pilgrims’ housing camps according to the Saudi Building Code.
    Reviewing all electrical wiring and appliances and their conformity with Saudi standard specifications.
    Supervising the grounding of all electrical installations and appliances.
    Supervising the construction works to install temporary tents in Arafat.
    Submit reports of completion rates and progress of work (construction works – mechanical works – electrical wiring works – fire prevention and protection works) to all authorities related to the pilgrims’ camps project in Arafat.
