The Escalator Project in Mina aims to facilitate the movement of pilgrims and reduce physical effort by replacing the existing concrete stairs with escalators. This project falls within the Kingdom’s efforts to improve quality of life and services for pilgrims, contributing to increasing the capacity of the site and easing pilgrims’ movement, particularly between elevated camps, as part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the pilgrims’ experience and improve the quality of services.
The project was executed as a consultant (Technical Office) for KONE Company for the supply and installation of 32 escalators in order to ensure the quality of the following :
Review and approval of structural drawings.
Review and approval of the calculation report.
Review and approval of structural materials used in the project.
Supervision of the execution of structural work on the project.
